Wellness Policy
Our District has developed a Wellness Policy that is focused on improving the health of students. The policy, required by USDA, is currently reviewed, assessed, and modified for district approval by SHAC, which is made up of parents, teachers, administrators, students, health professionals, and interested community members who review the district-wide nutrition and physical activity policies. The SHAC meets, at a minimum, four per times per year. If you are interested in participating, you may contact Erica Garcia at Parent & Family Engagement department 969-6600 or Dora Peña at Food & Nutrition Services 969- 6593.
