The WISD would like to honor the Athlete from Weslaco High School, Alfredo Robles. On May 11, 2012 Alfredo signed on to be a member of Wiley College Soccer team.
Alfredo is a senior at Weslaco High School and the son of Alfredo Robles and Julia Robles. He’s been on the Panther Soccer Varsity team and team captain for three years. This past year he earned the title of Team Offensive MVP, and will be graduating in the Top 25% with a GPA of 94.0. Alfredo plans to major in Accounting and Minor in Spanish. Weslaco ISD would like to congratulate Alfredo Robles on his achievements and wish him the best of luck

Be advised that on Friday, May 4, 2012, at a duly called Special Board Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Weslaco Independent School District, Dr. Ruben Alejandro was named as the lone finalist for the position of Superintendent of Schools.
